Our History
The Jepson Family have been associated with funerals for over one hundred years and are very proud to be still serving the local community.
There are currently three generations associated with the business, Keith, Roger and Caroline, Tom and Harry. Their new purpose built funeral home in Wirksworth was officially opened in November 2011 by William Tucker, The Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire.
The new premises provide a reception area and a cloister that leads to the lounge and chapel with a courtyard. There is also a preparation area, garage and private parking.
Since Roger Jepson joined the firm in 1980, steady acquisition has been achieved as other funeral directors have either retired or sadly passed away.
We now have branches in:
