For most families a traditional funeral would include transferring the deceased into our care, preparation of the deceased, use of our private chapel and our professional fees. Service at a local crematorium including a hearse, one limousine and bearers.

The Simple Funeral £1500.00
This is for those who wish to keep funeral costs to a minimum. All fees for this service must be paid before the funeral arrangements are confirmed.
The service includes part of our professional fees, transfer into our care, a simple coffin and the hearse leaving from our premises direct to a local crematorium or cemetery/churchyard. The date and time of the funeral is completely at our discretion.
Direct Cremation £1400.00
For those who do not wish to hold a funeral service and simply wish us to make the necessary arrangements for cremation. All fees for this service must be paid before the funeral arrangements are confirmed.
The service includes part of our professional fees, transfer into our care, a simple coffin and cremation fees. Please note that attendance at the crematorium is not permitted and the date and time is completely at our discretion.
We also offer an unattended burial to replicate the above, our cost for this excluding the burial fee is: £1000.00
The following items are specifically excluded from The Simple Funeral and Direct Cremation Options: Church service, Memorial service, viewing of deceased, administering charitable donations, press notices, service sheets, attendance cards, floral tributes and catering.
These fees include an appropriate amount to cover the cost of our overheads and provide twenty four hour telephone support to our clients at all times; provision of our fully trained staff available to make funeral arrangements to meet our clients requirements, organising the necessary documentation required for the funeral to take place and receiving and administering charitable donations on your behalf. On the day of the funeral, providing a funeral director and staff to supervise and conduct the funeral.
This fee is for transferring your loved one into our care. This allows for the transfer to be conducted by two members of staff within a thirty miles radius of our premises at any time during the day or night.
Care, Preparation & Respects
These fees are to care for your loved one until the funeral takes place. This includes dressing in their own clothes or a gown of your choice provided by ourselves. Our private chapels are also available for family and friends to pay their last respects.
This is modern arterial embalming and is carried out only if we feel this is necessary and with your consent.

Cremated Remains Caskets and Containers
Solid Oak & Mahogany Caskets
We have a selection of bespoke jewellery and giftware that can include a reproduction of a fingerprint that makes them truly unique and individual. To enable fingerprints to be included, please inform us of your wishes before the funeral. Items are individually priced on application.
Third Party Costs
Crematorium fees range from £450.00 – £950.00 depending on the crematorium and service time. (Please see the typical funeral pricing for the normal fee in this area)
Interment in a local Churchyard including the gravediggers fee is around £950.00
Interment in a local Cemetery including purchasing a new plot and gravedigging ranges from £1000.00 – £1600.00 (If the deceased is out of the area the fees are often doubled)
The typical cost for burial in a Derbyshire Dales District Council Cemetery is £1420.20
For an existing grave the fees are less starting from around £750.00, if there is a memorial on the grave this will need removing and refixing which will incur further costs. In addition the cemetery/churchyard may charge a number of other fees.
